Hello, I’ve been using Nest cameras for 15 years, and my camera system is the heart of my automation system. I still use the Nest app for my older cameras and it is amazing. I use Google Home for my new cameras, but the interface for Google Home is horrible. When viewing the video history in Google Home it is a huge step backwards and is horrible and time-consuming. I’ve been patiently waiting for several years for the functionality to be updated.
Since I was forced to move to Google Home, I continue to buy products other than Google but when the functionality is added to Google Home, I will switch over. For now, i will continue to use smart Home, and Alexa, others, to automate thermostats, lights, etc, and I have hundreds of products.
Google is losing a lot of money by not adding this very simple functionality to google home.

Totally agree the transition from Nest to Google Home has been frustrating, especially with the poor video history interface. Hopefully, Google improves this soon. For now, you might find this support page helpful for updates: https://support.google.com/googlenest
