Hello. I’ve just had an electrician come and install my nest hello wired version. I’ve noticed after he’s left, the chime connector isn’t connected. The camera is working perfectly, can stream and save everything. The issue I’m having is, when the doorbell is rang, no noise is coming through any of my google home speakers or my doorbell chime. The electrician has fitted a new power adapter (think that’s what it’s called) which ensures enough power is going to stream through the doorbell. But I can’t add a doorbell to my google home app, each time I try it says there’s been a problem and to exit setup. I’ve tried everything, restarting, u installing apps. I’ve even tried to connect the chime connector myself but each time I do it, the doorbell rings continuously and won’t stop buzzing after. I’m not particularly bothered about connecting to my existing doorbell chime, just want the sound to come through my google home speakers. Can anyone help?
