I had the latest Nest thermostat installed this summer (3 of them for each Carrier thermostat replacement). I have a dual system (heat pump and gas) and live in Pensacola, FL where it rarely gets below freezing until last night. I have a feeling my furnace has been using gas as the primary and was going to electric as secondary. They set the switchover to 30 degrees. Last night it got down to 20 and the house felt cold. It kept saying something about heat stage 2 and taking 3 hours to get there. It only got to 68 and we usually keep the house at 78. Is it wired wrong or programmed wrong? I don’t have a pic of the original thermostat wiring because the “professional” did the install. Here is the current wiring.

Thanks but I had a HVAC guy come out and he determined 2 of the 3 Nests were not properly wired. So it's all working good now.
