Hi, I have been using my doorbell for a few months - no issues. I just updated my Wi-Fi (new router) and my doorbell won’t connect using the QR code that came with my device. I’ve tried about 10 times with no luck - app won’t connect. Please help!

I'd be happy to help you with your doorbell connectivity issue! Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Check the power source: Make sure that your doorbell is receiving power. If it's a wired doorbell, make sure that the wires are connected properly and that the transformer is working. If it's a battery-operated doorbell, make sure that the batteries are charged.
Check your Wi-Fi connection: If your doorbell is a Wi-Fi enabled device, make sure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly and that the signal is strong enough to reach the doorbell. You can try moving your router closer to the doorbell or installing a Wi-Fi range extender.
Check the doorbell's settings: Make sure that the doorbell is set up correctly and that it's configured to connect to your Wi-Fi network. You can check the doorbell's user manual or manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do this.
Reset the doorbell: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the doorbell to its default settings. This will erase all of the doorbell's settings and configuration, so you'll need to set it up again from scratch.
Contact the manufacturer: If you've tried all of the above steps and you're still having trouble connecting your doorbell, you can contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the problem or provide a replacement if the doorbell is defective.
I hope these tips help you get your doorbell connected! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you. So far none of these steps have worked. I still have the box for the Google doorbell and an it’s QR code but that is not working. Grrrr.

Hey andreaeoc,
Thanks for trying. I'm sorry you're still having trouble connecting your doorbell. Let’s sort this out — a few questions: what’s the voltage of your transformer? What's the status light of the doorbell? How’s the temperature of the doorbell (warm, hot, cold or normal)? What country are you located in? Has there been any recent power outage in your area? Also, has it been exposed to direct sunlight?
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Important: When the doorbell shows a blue pulsing light when connected to a computer, it means it’s working. There may be issues on your wires or transformer.
Thanks,
JT

Hi, thank you for reaching out, but the answer is, nope - I still haven’t been able to connect my doorbell to my new wifi address. I’m thinking that it will never work again but I am going to call ADT to see if the can suggest anything short of paying to install a new unit. (Frustrating!)
