No longer able to broadcast to Google Hub in Script Editor

I have a simple automation that was working until i attemetd to add a device.

now when i attempt to revert it back to the original it's telling me the following error. Did something change wit the supporting devices? This was working without issue prior.

[assistant.command.Broadcast] is not supported by device [Kitchen Display - Kitchen]. The list of supported commands: []

So something has in fact changed but i don't understand what.  I have another similar automation broadcasting to a Google Hub Max that is working.. however if attempt to change the device.. the Hub Max Devices no longer show up in the device list. Only the google minis are now listed.

Google changing things and pulling the rug from under us!

I think they changed something in either the latest firmware or Assistant release.
