I’ve noticed a bug recently when using an automation that triggers a scene within Philips Hue.
There is 2 people in our home and it appears to be an issue with having the hue hub linked to its user account. When it is linked to my account it works for me but not my wife.
I’ve tried deleting and re installing both Home and Hue apps. I’ve linked it to my hue account on my profile and hers on hers. The only way to make it work for her is to delete the device from Google home. Re Install it on her profile and then link to her Hue account but this then stops it working on mine.
Anything else I can try?

Hi Alexsp,
Thanks for reaching out. You can add your wife to the Google Home app so you can both control your devices. See the steps below on how to add a home member:
The person you invite should receive an email with instructions.
Note: If the person you want to invite has already requested to join your home, you need to accept that request instead of sending a new invitation.
Check this link for more information.
Regards,
Juni

Hey Juni,
I’ve already added her as another member in the home. We are both members of our home but only one person can control the hue hub in the home. I think this is because you need to also login to the hue hub when adding it to home as a device.

Hello there,
Thanks for the additional information you’ve shared. Did she set up her voice? You can check which linked devices are using Voice Match and can provide personal info when Google Assistant recognizes your voice. Check out the article below to know more about it.
