Phillips Hue Bulb

I have been trying to reconnect my Phillips hue bulb to my Google Home Mini but each attempt I make at it I always get the message “Something went wrong, try again later” I need help figuring this out please!!

Hi  Ali96,

 

Thanks for posting ― let’s check this out.
 

To narrow things down, does your Philips Hue lights have its own native app? Does it work through there? If so, unlink and relink the lights from the Philips Hue app. Click this link to further the troubleshooting.

 

If these are Philips Hue Bluetooth light bulbs:

  1. Make sure that the only active account is your account on your Google Home app.
  2. Try moving our bulb within 15 ft from your Google Home Mini and check for interference,
  3. Make sure the customer is not adding more than six bulbs per speaker or display.
  4. Factory reset your Google Home Mini to revert it back to its original state, then set it back up.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. 
 

A few things: How many light bulbs are we trying to link? Is it a Bluetooth bulb or the one with the bridge? Could you try to unlink your bulbs directly from your Google account and relink it again and see if this will make a difference?
