Plejd and Google Home problem

User1anda05

Hey guys. First post here.

I need some help with my plejd system. I got everything running in the plejd app. I also got HomeMatic floor heating and Ikea app for a few things running. All the gadgets are working in GH but the plejd system shows offline and won't work? I believe I've tried everything out there by my self and with Google support but nothing makes them "come alive".

Today I was able to (in GH app) click the device and it looked like it was online but as soon as I switch the lights off (in app only not the lights itself) it goes offline again?

I habe rebooted, reinstalled. Need some help here cause i really wanna use the plejd system I've installed in my house.

Hi @User1anda05

Thanks for posting in the community and apologies for the late response.

A few questions: what type of wifi network do you have at home? Is it dual band (2.4ghz or 5ghz) or band steering? How far is the plejd from the router? Try moving it near the router to see if there will be any difference and say "Okay Google, sync all devices".

Keep me posted.

Best,

Nikki

Hi. Thanks for answering. I sorted it out. The plejd unit was connected to my fiber box. I connected it to my mesh router instead and all was good. It needed an IP adress alone.

My HomeMatic is still connected in the fiber box tho and that works.
