Restricting devices based on user profile

Evening

I’m using google nest and I’ve my account with multiple speakers and hue lights works great. However I would now like each of my children to have a google nest and have control over only their lights (and anything else I put in their room. I can’t work out how to do that.

when I try and setup a user it seems to ask me the corrrct questions about devices to control etc but I can’t work out how to deactivate users from a certain device. Any help would be appreciated.

I did wonder if a workaround was to create a new home for each user ? Perhaps use the native (apple) app through control centre ?

Go to your selected speaker of choice in the Google home app, click on the cog in the top right corner.  Go to Notifications & Digital wellbeing. Click on YouTube settings, then finally, Click on Restrict when someone isn't recognized. Thank me by Cashapp $DJHOOK215

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,
