Spotlight and camera install issue: no QR code and it’s asking for 11 or 21 digit code!?!?

As you can see in the photo, my issue is that the electrician that installed this camera tossed the QR code.  And when I go to enter the six digit code manually, the page is asking for a larger digit code that doesn’t exist to my knowledge.  I tried the serial

number, and serial number plus six digit code but that didn’t work.  Any ideas what I’m doing wrong here?

@Ckmdallas

Are you on the latest version of the Google Home app?

When you selected "+ Add" in the Google Home app and selected "Device", did you then inadvertently click on "Matter-enabled device" rather than on "Google Nest or partner device"?

I did matter enabled device and I’ll have to double check my update.  I’ll try with Google meet or partner device

Did anyone solve this?  Home doesnt support these cameras anylonger?  The QR code is invalid according to google home and the add manual option wont accept the 6 digit number thats on the camera?

Do i have two bricks? 😞

The previous customer on this thread was mistakenly selecting "Matter-enabled device" rather than "Google Nest or partner device".

The Google nest or button does a automatic Wi-Fi Bluetooth search it doesn’t allow you to enter a QR code so back to square one no result because only the matter enable device option allows you to enter QR code. Which has the poster has mentioned won’t allow a six digit code.
