The definite Article

Does anyone know how to make my GH say the definite article ("The"). 

When I say "turn on the fan", or "turn off the kettle," my GH echo's back... "Turning on fan" and "Turning off kettle." It seems like it has a big problem with saying the word "the."

My devices are named "The Fan" and "The kettle," so, what am I doing wrong?

I’ve run into that same issue before — it’s weird how something as small as “The” can totally change the tone. While I was tinkering with that, I took a quick break and ended up on billionaire spin just to clear my head. It’s not a fix, obviously, but sometimes stepping away for a bit helps me come back with a fresh approach. Let me know if you figure it out!
