Netflix isn’t connecting to my chromecast

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

 

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? Is this only happening with Netflix or across all apps? Are you getting any messages when casting from Netflix?

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Clear the cache and data of the Netflix app.
  2. Reinstall the Netflix app.
  3. Cast from different Chromecast-enabled apps.
  4. If you're using an iOS device, please turn on the Local Network Access.
  5. Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
  6. Reboot your mobile phone.
  7. Reboot your Chromecast.
  8. Try to use a different mobile phone.
  9. Factory reset your Chromecast.
