How can you view past videos on your computer? We can view it on our phones but not on our Computers.

@Moses1david

You can view video history for 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells (those installed in the Google Nest app) on the home.nest.com website. You cannot do so for 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells (those installed in the Google Home app); the beta "Public Preview" home.google.com website only provides live-streaming access.

Hello folks,

@Moses1david, hope you're doing great. Just wanted to check in and see if you still need any assistance. I'm especially interested in knowing if you had a look at the response from MplsCustomer and whether it helped you out at all. Did you manage to sort it out?

Also, you can check out this guide if you need to troubleshoot watching Nest camera video on a computer.

Thanks for the help, MplsCustomer.

All the best,

Lance

Thanks. I checked out the viewing of the cameras via the Google Nest app and on the base and computer. I can only view live streaming, but I can view past streaming on my phone. How can I upgrade to view past streaming on my computer? Is this possible?

@Moses1david

What do you mean by "on the base"?

As I said in my earlier post, you can view video history for 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells (those installed in the Google Nest app) on your computer using the home.nest.com website. You cannot do so for 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells (those installed in the Google Home app); the beta "Public Preview" home.google.com website only provides live-streaming access.

I believe Google Nest has plans to provide more than just live-streaming on the home.google.com website, but they haven't said when this might happen.
