Hi,
I’ve had a nest doorbell for years. Since Friday it has been going offline roughly every hour. I’ve checked the wiring, restarted the wifi router, remade the wifi connection, checked the wifi strength and given the device a static IP address. Is this happening to everyone in U.K. as is there anyway I can tell what the problem is? I did ping the device from the router once and it was fine. Maybe I could figure out a way to automate a ping when I get the warning. I did join the google developer in order to get google working in Home Assistant but I don’t remember device-offline being an available trigger.

The best thing would be if we were able to stream locally. Maybe this has nothing to do with anything local. It would also speed things up.

Incidentally. It’s connected to 2.4GHZ band 1 with only a standard narrow band width. On my phone I can see some 5GHz networks but none appear when setting up the doorbell. Band 1 is the best band when I scan with my laptop sat on the front step.
