My queries work when asking google home devices What time, what temp, but my wife asks the same questions and gets the "Sorry I don't understand" response. Both using the SAME Google Home settings, same Home, Same Manager (under access details), both have completed voice match... WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!

You're not alone.  I've recently started getting this answer for a simple command that has been working fine for more than a year. When I say "play WBUR on dining room speaker", the Assistant will now reply with the "Sorry, I didn't understand" response. 😒

Same here. I have been having this issue on and off all week. I ask to play music and sometimes it will play no problem and other times I get the 'Sorry I Don't Understand' response.  Like today it hasn't worked at all.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have; let me help you all out. A few things: Which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? What is the distance between your Nest speakers/display from your Wi-Fi router? Are you getting the same message when using your phone’s Google Assistant?

You can all do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest speakers/ displays for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Juni
