Can't control temperature on the Nest app

When I go into the Nest app, it shows "HOME" and underneath it, "Add Product." My thermostat is already connected, so that's not the issue. If I click on "HOME" it gives me the option of changing to "AWAY." Under home, there's the outside temp. I do not see the indoor temp or any option to change it using the app. I've had this thermostat and app for about 4 or 5 years with no issues. Can someone please help?

Hi Mario, thank you for answering. I have rebooted the phone. How do I restart the thermostat? Would that mean I would have to reprogram it? I have a Google Nest learning thermostat, 3rd generation, purchased on July 20, 2018.

I hope you are well. I'm sorry for the long way, let me explain to you how you do a restart of your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd gen:

 

Go to Settings  >  and then Reset > then Restart

 

If you want to know more information about how you restart your thermostat here is a link with more details to do it, further moreover If a restart doesn't fix the issue don't hesitate to let me know.

Your suggestion didn't work. I found the solution though. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Perhaps I should be employed by Google?

Hello, I'm also having the same issues with the nest app. I tried to uninstall and install the app. I have also tried a restart but still can't control my thermostat with the nest app.
