Can't reconnect thermostat after accidentally deleting

After I accidentally deleted my profile, I cannot reconnect my thermostat. I've tried resetting doing everything I possibly can. I know I can hook it up to the computer and enter some code code. If somebody can walk me through that I'd be grateful.

• What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
• What message are you getting when you try to connect it?
• Can you still control the thermostat stand alone?
