I have 3 systems in my house, a heat pump, an oil boiler for radiators and and oil furnace. Therefore, I have 3 thermostats. I am in the Nest Renew program. I do not understand why it is adjusting the boiler and furnace for cleaner energy times since that energy is already here in the house in my oil tank. I would have thought it would just adjust the heat pump to times the electricity is being produced more cleanly. Is there a cleaner time to burn oil during the day?
