Hello,
I have a dual source heating system, with electric baseboard (non nest thermostats) and a 5-zone in-floor hydronic heating run with 5 Nest Learning thermostats (each zone is individually valved).
When in high demand times and 4 or all 5 zone heating at once, my boiler cannot seem to keep up with the heat demand and the water temp drops too low to effectively heat. Is there a way to coordinate all 5 of the Nest thermostat to heat in a series so that there are not all 5 zones demanding heat at one time.
I would like to be able to set an order of operations, ie. start with zone 1 and heat to temperature, then zone 2, then zone 3, etc.
Any help or support on this would be very much appreciated.

Hi Bigwhitenest,
Thanks for reaching out! The best option I recommend is to set up an order of operations for your five Nest Learning Thermostats. You can set a schedule on each thermostat to control the time and temperature throughout the day. For instructions, please visit Temperature schedules for the Nest Learning Thermostat.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Manuel
