I only own one Nest device — and honestly, that’s all I was planning to need. I paid a premium for it because the Nest app made it incredibly easy to use. It was fast, clean, and designed specifically for my device. I could open it, make adjustments, or check my settings in seconds without digging through menus.
Now we have to buy a new Nest to use our phones? Why so that they can make a quick buck?
If this is how Google is going to treat the Nest brand, this will be the first and last Nest product I ever buy.

I just bought several cameras that I will be returning. This is bad support! Class action.....

There needs to be some class action suit about this being done... To disable a feature offered and described as part of its purchase agreement, and having to buy a new one to simply keep the functionality you already have sounds like extortion to me. It isn't right. Just leave the app as it is and keep your word.
