Fan continues to run after heating is complete

I bought a nest google gen 4 thermostat and have a new heating and cooling system. When I turn on the heat option it heats to desired temp but after it finishes the heat turns off and the fan continues to run forcing cold air through the house. It still stays on heat mode but cold air continues to run due to fan not shutting off. Any suggestions?

  • What other strange symptoms have you experienced since the problem started?
  • Are there any error messages on your Nest Learning Thermostat 4th gen display? If so, what are they exactly?
  • What type of HVAC system do you have?
  • When was the last maintenance check performed on your HVAC system?
  • Does the issue happen on heating only, cooling only, or both?
  • Do you have a common ground wire or C wire?
  • Please share a picture of your current wiring information.
