Faulty Heatlink

Hi there,

I got home last night to find heating wasnt working and through various tests relasied that the Heatlink wasnt working. With 2 young kids i had to fix asap so I went to B&Q and bought a new Nest Thermostat and fitted the Heatlink from it and it fixed the problem. Can i claim for this as the Thermostat itself was working fine but feel that having to pay £190 for a complete new set is ridiculous.

Hi there! Sorry to hear about that, but I'll do my best to assist you. We may be able to replace the Heat Link after we do some troubleshooting steps and make sure that indeed it's faulty, but we can't reimburse you for the unit that you recently bought. Maybe, you can take it back to the place from where you bought it.

I sent you an email with a form. please complete it in order to create a case for you and afterwards, please let me know here. Meanwhile, could you please answer to these questions?

What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
When was it installed?
Are you seeing any wiring report or message on the thermostat and/or the app?
Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
If yes, how long was the power off for? (Be specific.)
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before contacting us?
