Heater won't turn off with Nest thermostat

Ac works fine and turns off as set most of time the heater will not. It keeps running and getting hotter so then I have to turn on the AC to cool off the house and then I turn off and eventually it turns off but not right away.

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.

Let's give these steps a whirl:

1. Please share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring.
2. Disable the Home/Away Assist. 
   1. Open the Nest app, go to Settings > Home/Away Assist > Home or Away, and switch off automatic switching.
3. Remove action from the Google Home app.
   1. Go to Routines > Home or Away, then remove the thermostat action if it exists.
4. Clear all temperature schedules.
5. Check its power readouts from the "Technical Info" settings.
6. Restart your thermostat to refresh.
