Heating OK, no hot water. 3rd generation thermostat.

a) Misunderstanding of values showing on 'stat.

Hot water control on/off - I think it means the 'stat simply switches the boiler on or off, water temp controlled elsewhere in the system? Is this right please.

b) Having messed with the system, we have no hot water, the target flow temp is 60, currently shows flow temp 56, i.e. not heating the hot water.

How to test this please, suggestions for what I have messed up?

More accurately, I couldn't find the one which switches off control of the hot water.

Since resolve (help of a neighbour).
General comment (from both of us) the prompts are not clear to us?
Nor is there any help as to how the uncertainty might be resolved, e.g. website.

Problem now resolved.

Hi there and thanks for reaching our Community. I'm sorry about your issue, but I'll do my best to help you out. Just to confirm, the hot water controls disappeared from your display?

Im having a problem with my nest 3rd gen.

Nest does not give signal to boiler to heat hot water up.

I can hearing clicking noises. But boiler does not fire up.

Boiler only fires up once i click on for my central heating on. But ive noticed the boiler stays on even though i turned the central heating off. Seems like the nest or the heat link are not sending the signals.
