Home Away assist not turning off hot water schedule with OpenTherm control.

I have had a 3rd Gen Learning Stat running on a heat only boiler (S-Plan setup) for a few years now and Home Away Assist always turned off my hot water schedule after 48hrs of being away from home.
I have now upgraded to an OpenTherm controlled system boiler and this function appears to have stopped working. (Viessman Vitodens 100-W)
I have been away twice for 10 days recently and heating has switched to eco correctly every time but the hot water schedule continued to run daily throughout the 10 days. Bacteria prevention is disabled so the hot water schedule should cease after 48hrs and not run at all until I return home.
If I toggle the hot water control to 'off' manually then the schedule is ignored so this appears to be a bug in the software which is not correctly disabling hot water scheduling when the control method is set to OpenTherm.
Customers running OpenTherm System boilers but without the luxury of a web connected boiler may believe they are saving energy/money whilst away but their hot water schedule may be running as normal in the background.
I also have a more minor issue of the reported Hot Water temperature occasionally not updating and getting stuck at a given temperature. Resetting the Heat Link resolves this issue but it's slightly annoying.

* I can see the hot water is continuing to run whilst away through my boiler app.
