This is ridiculous that my 2nd generation Nest thermostat becomes useless since Google is dropping wifi access to the Nest app. To "pour salt in the wound", Google wants me to pay $150 to continue with them & buy their next generation thermostat! Why would anyone want to continue buying a thermostat that could not be supported after the next 13 years?I'm switching back to my old reliable Honeywell Thermostats that came out before Nest, cares about their customers & continues to support their products with wifi access & support. Very bad business Google!
