Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum — I'd love to know more about it.

Are you pertaining to the orange screen shown as an indicator for heating? Also, do you see any messages or code on your Nest Thermostat?

Yes I was worried about the orange light not showing on the display, at all times, when I thought it should do.

But in fact I now realise that it only shows when warming up the house.

So no problem.

Hi Bernie17,

Thanks for the update — Nest Thermostats will give you an orange screen when it's running your heating system, while blue screen when your AC is working. It looks like there's nothing wrong with your thermostat, so I'm going to lock this thread in 24 hours. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to create a new thread.
