Nest Gen 4 Learning Thermostat Display Stopped Working

I had Handy install my Google Nest Gen 4 learning model on Saturday and on Sunday the screen is blank. I tried charging it through a USB C, and still blank. I tried to reach out to my Handy installer, and I've heard no response back. I also tried the Google support chat and was waiting for 5 hours even though it stated I was first in line. Can someone help me, please?

I appreciate you taking the time to post in the community. I’m sorry to hear that your Nest Thermostat Learning 4th Gen goes black and doesn't turn on after the installation even if you charge it. Don’t worry, Help is Here.

Before we start, I have some questions about the issue you have:

  • When you connect the Nest Learning Thermostat, are you able to see any blinking light?
  • Have you confirmed that the HVAC breakers are on?
  • For how much time have you charged the thermostat?
  • Have you tried to use another USB wire to charge the thermostat?
