I currently have the 4th gen thermostat set on daily schedules (Mon-Sun) for Comfort and Sleep, however I thought the thermostat was capable of overriding those schedules when it did not detect presence and/or my phone (only device connected to it) was away and switching to Eco mode. However looking at my energy usage, it’s been consistently running on the schedules even when I’m away for days at a time. Am I misunderstanding what the thermostat is capable of? For context, I’ve already done all of the troubleshooting steps in this thread and it doesn’t seem like a resolution was ever come to here:

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Anbessa0408,
Thank you for reaching out to this community. I understand that your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) is set with daily Comfort and Sleep schedules for the entire week. You expected it to switch to Eco mode when no presence is detected or when your phone is away, but your energy analysis shows that it's consistently following the schedules even when you've been away for days. I appreciate the time you spent performing the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the thread. I'm happy to help!
I'd like to share some steps you can check in the Google Home app to see if that resolves the issue.
Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.
Best regards,
Eduardo
