Nest Learning Theromstat (3rd Gen) - No Fan Option

I purchased a Google Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Gen) from the google store. I hired a licensed HVAC technician to install it and is working well. Today I went to run the fan to equalize the floors and pull cool air from the basement. Well, there is no fan icon on the screen beside the "eco" button. I looked online and there are video how to set the fan schedule, etc. Why does my brand new thermostat not have this. My old thermostat (Honeywell - No SMART Tech) allowed me to fun the fan or have it on auto?

Hi EvanXRS

Sorry for this inconvenience that you are experiencing with your thermostat, I can provide you with some tips that you can

perform to solve this situation.

Most thermostats have a green wire (often labeled "G") for the fan.  Double-check that it's firmly plugged into the correct terminal on your thermostat. Also please go to your thermostat and select this option  Settings  > Equipment menu, then you can see all the wires installed in your thermostat, if there is a red highlighted on a wire, make sure that insert this wire properly and perform a reboot.

Please let me know how it goes.

Regards

Daniel
