Nest Thermostat - No hot water boost in Google Home

I'm just starting up this thread as the last one was closed down even though the issue wasn't solved. The answer was that it isn't available in Google Home but of course we know that hence opening the query in the first place. It would be useful to know when a solution will be provided.

Could I suggest that you do NOT lock down this thread? It is as far as I know the only platform that is a means of communication between those of us who bought nest thermostats, and subsequently found that there is NO hot water control for these thermostats (an absolutely essential feature) in Google home app. This is an unresolved and active problem - so why would you want to shut down our means of communication with you, I wonder…

Thank you for voicing your opinions @GeeI @welshdragon @icsurgeon . I see your point and appreciate all the input. 

You are correct, currently the hot water control option is not available in the Google Home app. The option is available in the Nest app and currently there is no update on the availability in the Home app that I can share. 

I do appreciate all the feedback provided here and in other threads but at the moment there is no update we can share on this. We're always looking for ways to improve both our products and features and all the feedback is much appreciated. 

If there is an update, we'll make sure to let everyone know on our official channels.

Hello there @GeeI , @welshdragon, @icsurgeon! Just checking with you. Did you see my colleague's previous message? As he stated there's no update regarding adding this specific feature to the Home App. Also, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience created by me in the community because locking the threads. But since no one is replying  or writhing back on the threads that usually means two things: you've became unresponsive or the issue was addressed by my other colleagues or via other channels such as phone, chat or even social media. Looking forward to your reply, please feel free to write here or on another thread. I'm again sorry for the frustrating situation.

I understand your point and I'm again sorry for the inconvenience, but since this feature doesn't exist at this moment and we neither have an exact date or a time frame when this could be added to the Home App, this thread cannot be open until then. You can boost and control the Hot Water from the Nest App as for now.  If you wish you can leave a feedback for this exact matter following this link: https://goo.gle/3KezjUf.
