My Nest thermostat was working fine and now all of sudden it wont keep the furnace running until it reaches the set temperature, So i have to turn off the thermostat an then turn it back on heat, the furnace then kicks on runs for a bit and then turns off, i then repeat over and over, when i go to bed at night the furnace wont turn on or turn on once in a while and the house temp really drops in the morning eg

house temp during the day thermostat say 19 and nest is set at 23 manually have to turn it on, it goes to about 20 and turns off, have turn turn it off and repeat.

In the morning the house temp even though the nest is set at 23 the house temp is 16 and the thermostat needs to be turned off and on again.

Sorry also this thermostat was professionally installed, and there are no error codes that come up

I'm having the same issue. My house is set to 70F first thing in the morning. The safety temperature is set to 64F so it should NEVER be colder than that. When I woke up this morning it was 62F! I don't know how to fix it

Mine also is doing this worked great until yesterday not sure what the problem is. Gonna try disconnecting everything and re-installing

This way if getting help is useless. All of us have the same issue. Where are the experts answering us?

I agree!!! I took it completely out as if it was new install. And it worked great through the “test” but then back to the same issue after.

I am having the same problem.  Nest says heating but my furnace doesn’t fire. Tested the furnace and it works fine so clearly an issue with the Nest. My house reached 42* and it said heating to 67* 🙄

Mine seems to be doing okay. Nest support is dreadful. Couldn’t answer my question and clearly don’t do anything here.
