Nest Thermostat

My nest thermostat worked ok from November to mid January.

Since then the fan does not start when in heating mode. This happens now about once per week.

Have tried all possible ways to get it working as it should. My schedule is simple 21 degrees at 7,30am then 18 degrees at 930pm all 7 days of the week.

Have you checked with your HVAC tech relating to this recently?

Hi there,

Thanks for the help @eveluna.

ktouf, thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I'm sorry that the issue persists.

To isolate the issue, make sure that the fan is working independently.

You can try the steps here:

  1. Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Fan.
  3. Turn the ring to select how long you'd like your fan to run.
  4. If you have a multi-speed fan, you'll also be able to set your fan speed.
  5. Your fan will turn off automatically after the time you've selected.
  6. You can turn the fan off early by selecting Stop fan from the fan menu. You'll see a spinning fan icon on your thermostat's screen to let you know it's running.

You can also click this link to learn more.

Best,

Jenelyn
