Nest heatlink distance from boiler.

Hello, can a heatlink be say 10 meters away from the boiler or must it be installed close to the boiler.  My house is above the garage and the boiler is in the cellar below the garage.  I am worried that the signal would not be strong enough or reliable enough if the heatlink was next to the boiler.

Hi @mike25 , thanks for reaching out here. You can definitely have the Heat Link further from the boiler as the Heat Link will be wired to the boiler. We actually recommend the Heat Link be at least 30 cm from the boiler and other large metal objects or things that can cause interference.

Where the distance is more important is between the Heat Link and the thermostat if you decide to only have it connected wirelessly to the Heat Link.
