Nest thermostat ,

I cannot change the safety temperature on the nest fourth generation thermostat.

this is supposed to be adjustable.

95° is too high and hot for any living creature to survive 

 

I’ve tried on the device and I’ve tried in the app. It doesn’t change it from 95°. Why

I appreciate you completing those initial troubleshooting actions on your Nest Thermostat and in the app. To make sure I provide you with the most accurate and effective troubleshooting steps, I just need a little more information. Could you please answer the following questions for me? 

  • When did you install your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen)?
  • What type of HVAC system do you have?
  • Do you see error codes on the Nest Thermostat’s screen?
  • Could you please send me a picture of the wiring for the current Nest Thermostat?
