Nest thermostats..... garbage

There is nothing simple nor easy about hooking up the nest thermostats. I am an electrician who has changed many standard thermostats to smart ones by adding a 3rd wire to the thermostat from the heat furnace. I have added a 3rd wire for a client, I have hooked the unit up multiple different ways and still it doesn't connect to wifi and does not have constant power. The thermostat box doesn't come with any diagram to get you on the right track. I was on the phone with Google help for 45 minutes and still could not get it hooked up. Google should be ashamed of such a product.

To better assist you, please provide the following information:

• Are you receiving any error messages?
• Is there a blinking LED light on the thermostat? If so, what color is it?
• Are the circuit breakers turned on, and is there power to the home?
• Is the thermostat's display securely in place?
• Have there been any recent changes to your home Wi-Fi network?

Once we have this information, we can diagnose the issue and provide a solution.
