No more nest access?

'App control of this thermostat is going away' This is the message on my app. Why the heck would I continue to use a Nest if I can't use the app? This makes no sense. I won't continue to pay for this if I can't use the app.

You'll need to get a new Nest thermostat to continue using it with the app. They're dropping support for older Nest devices (2011/2012).
