Hi all,
I have an issue with the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd gen base and the USB charger. The issue is that the base doesn't recognise that a charge is coming in. The USB charge works at through the rear input at the back of the main device, however once connected to the base it doesn't recognise a charge.
I've stripped the base down to revel the PCB and there's no apparent connection breaks or playable connection within the USB port.
I can't seem to find a replacement base anywhere other than the wired base, which I don't want. Google custom ee service is shocking too. "Yes sir there seems to be an issue with the base, but because your out of the warranty period, we cannot replace it". "Okay, I understand that, can you tell me where I can buy a replacement base from". "Ohh no sir, we cannot recommend a distributor"..... " well thanks a whole bunch for that help".
Any suggestions anyone has would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hey Jayk,
Thanks for posting and I'm sorry that you had to go through this.
You may order a base for your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Generation at our Google Store through this link: https://bit.ly/37taHFf They are out of stock so I suggest to check from time to time for stock availability.
Best,
