I need to be able to setup 2 or more different schedules and switch between them easily. This doesn't seem a hard programming task.

Hello Jenniffer,
Thanks. I have Model Display-3.4 according to the Nest App - which I think is the 3rd Gen.
I am familiar with using the schedule feature - but would like to create 2 different schedules and switch between them as needed as I use the house at different times and days of the week.

Hi underm,
Thanks for following up!
The option to create a separate schedule and. switch them isn't currently available on the Nest thermostat models.
As an alternative, you can create a schedule to maintain your desired temperature at specific times. I deeply appreciate you sharing your feedback to continue improving our products and meeting your needs.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Jenniffer

Hi Jenniffer,
Is there an API I could use to do this?

Hi underm,
Thanks for the reply! I'm sorry for the delay in response. I'd be happy to help with an alternative option!
For now, you can try creating a routine to automate temperature adjustments throughout the day. You can set up a personal or household routine in the Google Home app to control your Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen. For detailed instructions, you can check out this article: Create and manage routines for Google Home automations.
Keep me posted.
