Thermostat Learning 4th Gen not connected with Google Home App

Hello,

I was using the Google Nest for a long time with the old cameras, decided to add more and added 2 Outdoor lighting cameras, a doorbell wired 2 gen and the thermostat learning 4th gen.

I was able to add the outdoor cameras, and start getting frustrated with the doorbell and the thermostat. (both were installed by professionals (Electrician and Plumber) issue started with adding those to the app.

Thermostat: I start the process, it is connected with the WiFi, but in the app only shows as Climate device, and below the section of Nest thermostat and when click on it, nothing appears.

I restarted the thermostat, but nothing. and might worsen the section with Matter info now is in read words stating not available.

Now what????

Hi all,

Thanks for reaching out to the community page. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) isn't connecting as expected with the Google Home app because you can see your thermostat listed, but when you tap on it, the information isn't available, and you can't control it. I understand how inconvenient it is not to be able to control your Nest Thermostat as intended. I appreciate the information you've shared and the troubleshooting steps you've already tried to resolve this. No worries, I'd be more than glad to share more details with you.

We're aware of an issue with accessing thermostat controls in the Google Home app. We’ll share an update as soon as possible, thanks for your patience.

Feel free to share any other relevant information.

Regards,
Jonathan

I appreciate you finally responding to all of these problems but providing an update “as soon as possible” doesn’t help very much.  WHEN do you expect this to be resolved?

it's just a thermostat. people get cancer or alzheimer's and have real problems. lets just give them sometime to fix it. although maybe a buggy thermostat is worse than alzheimer's? ; )

The only other relevant information is that it said on July 14th at 5:10 am EST that device was removed from Google Home. Never able to reconnect device to Google Home but works completely fine and is connected to the internet
