Thermostat in warmest space in the house

I have seen a number of people asking about heating their children's rooms when the Nest Thermostat is in a hotter area of the house.

Our thermostat is in the downstairs hall which is generally warm. Our children's rooms are upstairs and cooler so we end up having to raise the thermostat temperature higher than we want for downstairs to get them warmed up.

I understand individual Nest room temperature sensors don't work in the UK and Ireland.
