My question is about a flashing red light on the thermostat. Unfortunately it’s a house we recently bought and the former owner left no info. The thermostat started blinking red last night. This morning it had a message that it was recharging. Google searches tell me the red light means it is self recharging. But also says it should take up to two hours. Been way longer. Something else said I should pull of the thermostat and charge it by USB. Trouble is I have no idea what version I have and whether it is iOS or Google or whatever. I never could get it to connect to my internet and I set it manually. I sure wish they had left a manual.
