Turn all thermostats to off at the same time

I have a house with Nest 2nd and 3rd generation thermostats, still controlled by the old Nest App.  When I turn one thermostat to "heat" or "eco" it asks if I want to change them all.  It's convenient to change all the thermostats at once.

In a new house I had to use all Google Nests and I have to individually turn each room on or off.  There doesn't seem to be any way to group them.

Hi @lisap3,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest community. I'm sorry to hear that all your Nest Thermostats, 2nd and 3rd gen are not turning on the Heat or Eco mode at the same time in your new house, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to help you right now.

To get a better understanding of the situation, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • Do you have Schedules in all your Nest Learning Thermostats, 2nd and 3rd gen?
  • When did the issue start?
  • Are all the Nest Learning Thermostats set up in the same Home Structure?
  • Did you try to create a new Home Structure in the Nest app?
  • Do you see error codes or messages in the app?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Best regards,

Gabriela
