You would figure if a feature is available on the thermostat that it would be available in the app. I purchased the next gen3 so I can control my auxilary heat remotely but there is no option to manually turn auxilary heat using the mobile app. Will this be included in the next patch of the software??

Miswiring or incorrect configuration might be the reason why auxiliary heating is not showing in the settings. To be sure, could you please share with us a photo of your previous and current thermostats' wiring?

I did your online chat and they said the app does not work with turning on auxiliary heat

Hi abe72,
I appreciate your efforts in reaching out to our team. In addition, auxiliary heat can turn on when it's too cold outside or your heat pump needs to defrost. Manually enabling this is not available unless your heat pump isn't sufficient to warm your home. Also, the Heat Pump Balance settings would help so you could adjust how you use it.

yeah I read, thats a bs response though. whatever feature is available on the nest should be available in the app. if its not then your team should work on implementing this feature as its would be beneficial to have.
