I have a Google Nest Wifi Pro system set up with 3 different notes across the network. (Office, Basement, and living room). There are no other routers in the system. I am able to print with my epson 4760 wifi printer when I first boot the printer. If I don't print for an extended period of time, I am unable to print to the printer without rebooting the printer and trying to print again.
It seems like the printer looses it's connection after a period of time or is not woken up by the print command. I am however, able to see the IP address of the printer. I have found a few posts about epson printers being unable to print, but no resolution was found and the thread goes dead after it is closed for inactivity.
Any thoughts on where to start?

I also tried to print from different computers and operating systems. I had the same problem when using Windows 10, and Linux Mint 22. If I rebooted the printer and it reconnected, everything worked fine initially until things go to sleep again.

In the meantime, you can try contacting your Internet service provider to check if your modem is on bridge mode. While it's possible that double NAT could be causing issues, it's important to confirm with your internet service provider that bridge mode on your modem is on.
Please let me know if you have more questions. Thank you.

Jorge

I'm having the same problem with an Epson ET-2850 printer. Install goes fine, printer is online, prints from both my mac air computer, and my iphone. Then, after a period of time printer goes into idle status and I cannot connect. I recently upgraded my older Google home wifi to a Nest Pro wifi with 4 pods throughout my house. The old system worked, but I wanted faster speeds, so thought that upgrading would help. Now I can't print.

It seems based on the forums and other responses, that this is a common problem, but each thread seems to die before resolution is provided.
I don't understand why a double NAT would cause this issue of working at first and then after going to sleep not working. Do you think this would cause the problem I am seeing?
With regards to bridge mode. - the old router setup, I had was working fine, so the only change I have made was installing the new google wifi system so it seems to be an issue with the Google Wifi system.

I am having the exact same problem. Any update on a fix? I have Google Fiber and new google nests. Everything was fine before the new nests. I have done all of the above too, plus hours on the phone with google. I usually rave about Google Fiber and service, but this is getting ridiculous . I can turn off the fiber and hotspot off my phone and this doesn't happen.

Any response to this issue? Other people's posts about the same topic just seem to die or they end up buying a new system that isn't google.
