My Point randomly stopped working and no longer powers on at all. I've tried holding the setup button, using another working point's power cable & adapter, different outlets, etc. - it's dead. My device's warranty expired on 11/7/23, so it's out of warranty by a little over 3 months. I'm very disappointed. I've contacted Google Support, and while they used to make exceptions to their warranty policy and replace defective devices, as shown in this case for a Point that was 6 months out of warranty, they refused to make an exception for my 3-month out-of-warranty device. They explained to me that their "exceptions guidelines" have changed, and thus, I have an expensive paperweight now. I really didn't expect much from Google, knowing my device was out of warranty, but I was hoping they'd offer me the same exception as they have for others in the past. If there is a Community Specialist on here who can assist me further, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance!
