Our of the blue, my nest wifi system stopped working. There is a blinking red (pinkish) light and does not respond even to the bottom factory reset button. Chatted with cusotmer support and no solution was given. Seems like my 18 month old +$300 system is now useless. Very frustrated.

Depending on where you live you might be able to complain/ ask for refund or new product, even after 18 months. In Norway I'd be able to do it within 5 years.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately Google does not provide any further assistance in my country. Will have to buy a new mesh equipment from other brand. Very dissatisfied with Google support and customer care.

Hey, JuliX22.
What country are you in? Is that the same country where you purchased the setup? I'm sorry for the issues you're having. Let me know that info and I'll see if there's more we can do here.
Thanks.

Hi Jeff
thanks for your message. I purchased the router in the US but live in Argentina. I travel quite frequently but don’t know if there is anything that can be done. Was not offered any response from Google in that respect.

Hi, JuliX22.
Between regions there are often differences between wireless standards as designated by local governments. That's the main reason why the devices sold in different countries will differ from others. I know it's not as convenient as being able to bring your devices when traveling, but really the only way to ensure proper function or compatibility is to buy within the region you're going to use wireless network tech.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
Thanks.
