Google's Known Product Issues

I currently have multiple Google Nest products with major known issues.  Some of these issues are with my Nest Audio speakers and the other is with my Nest WiFi.  It's rumored that Google is well aware of these issues and working to fix them.  The problem is, Google has yet to make an official announcement to let the users know that something is being done to rectify these issues.  I am at about the end of my rope and ready to throw in the towel on Google.  I have to reset my network several times a day just to get any work done, or to steam some entertainment.  Multiple factory resets have just proven to be a waste of time.  The frustration is growing with users and Google doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that there is a problem or that they are working on a fix.  I'm about ready to trash my 15 Google Home speakers and displays and my Nest WiFi system.  The problem is, I can't even sell these things in good conscience, knowing that they don't work as advertised.

Thanks for letting me gripe!

Someone somewhere within Google knows about this. According to reps from Google on this forum,  they're aware of and addressing the issue. They've said that since at least early September. These posts pop up then the same fixes that don't work are offered and then the post is locked. Problem solved. 😂

Seriously, I'm with you on this. If I can't get a refund,  it's in the trash. Ordered Netgear Orbi WiFi mesh to replace it. I can't work from home with wifi that randomly shuts down throughout the day.

I'm on day 3 of attempting to make their "support" understand that the Nest Router is fine, is the wi-fi Point that isn't working..... It's becoming more of an argument now as they're trying to lay the blame on my ISP and modem settings....

My New Years resolution is to make my wifi stable and reliable.  I've been looking at the ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8) and I'm thinking about making the switch this weekend.

  • Nope!  I got rid of my Nest WiFi system and went with a superior product.  Next step is to get rid of my Nest speakers.

Sorry to hear that nickp001. I wish we could have found a solution for you, but I understand why you would choose to look at other options. Hopefully that works out well for you.
