Hello @Ehafner,

Thanks for posting in the community.

I understand the frustration of experiencing Wi-Fi buffering issues, especially during major events like the Olympics. While having a 5G connection should provide reliable speeds, various factors can impact your Wi-Fi performance. I appreciate your patience and effort.

To help me troubleshoot the issue effectively, please provide the following information:

  • What's the model of your Wi-Fi router (Google WiFi, Nest Router, Nest Pro)?
  • Who is your Internet service provider?
  • How many devices are connected to your Wi-Fi network during the Olympics?
  • Are you experiencing buffering issues with specific streaming services or across multiple platforms?
  • Have you noticed any other signs of network congestion, such as slow loading times on websites or difficulty connecting to online services?

In the meantime, you can try these general troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart Your Router: Power cycle your router by turning it off, waiting for a few minutes, and then turning it back on.
  2. Reduce Network Interference: Move your router away from potential sources of interference, such as cordless phones or microwaves.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, you can also check out this: Troubleshoot a slow Internet link. Please let me know, and I will be more than happy to continue helping you. Keep me posted. Thank you.

All the best,
Jorge
