My HP LaserJet M209dwe will not connect to the google puck...or the google puck cannot identify my printer....(not sure of responsibilities there). It worked fine on the previous network.... can't connect with new pucks that were installed a couple of days ago. I'm sure there's is some sort of set-up that needs to be done...I just don't know where/how to do it.
Is it the puck's job to find the printer? Or the printer's job to introduce itself to the puck?

Hi, CG888.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw olavrb's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

It's the printer's job to connect to the Nest Wifi. But it might fail to do so if it does not support how Nest Wifi "bundles" 2.4ghz and 5ghz in the same SSID. This behavior can't be overridden.
This is a frequently discussed topic, see following Google search to read more about it:

Thanks. I’m not sure how I did it, but I was able to connect the printer to the network. I think it was probably user error ok my part … b/c I threw away the instructions on an inexpensive printer.
thanks

No worries, CG888. Printers, even with the best of instructions available, often prove to be the most maddening of all computer hardware to work with. I'm happy to hear it's working well. I'll mark this as resolved, but if you need anything else going forward, please feel free to open up a new thread.
Thanks.
